TRANS, from Latin (“through”,"across,“beyond”)

Location - Autonomy
Located in between urbanization and landscape, the building is presented as an autonomous architectural element (The possibility of an absolute architecture, Pier Vittorio Aureli), clearly establishing its position in the environment, marking his boundaries, by defining a perimeter based on its pure geometry.
Urbanization - Landscape
The building lays down on a squared base, raising up in two of its wings, establishing a clear front between urbanization and landscape. Materializing only one corner of the cube, our mind recreates a complete box, like if it were a big building. An space reserved in consequence of this limit in relation with the urbanization; an open air room, transition from the city to the building.
Construction - Order - Structure
The project is based on a structural module and its repetition, leaving free space for offices plan. Repetition transferred to the façades, adopting each one its autonomy.
Façade - Limit
The material definition of both façades shows the dichotomy between positionings regarding the limit. The street image is composed by a curtain wall, standing out the interior. On the other side, a metallic mesh covers the façade and the courtyards floor, visualizing abstractly the interior modulation. The detail care in Office work is shown on the antagonistic position between both limits, solving the conflict among orders in both façades.
Autonomy - Interior
Two autonomous volumes -far from the classic archetype of stair- break vertically the offices open space. It is only here where architects use colour, like a polite excuse to the arbitrary elements.
